Last Updated: September 25, 2026
Welcome to Harmonic Recovery ("Harmonic Recovery," "we," "our," or "us"), a service operated by Tinibo LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Harmonic Recovery mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Harmonic Recovery is designed to keep your hearing and practice information on your device. We collect only the limited information needed to provide subscriptions, respond to support requests, and operate the website.
1.1 Information Stored Only on Your Device
The following information is created and stored on your device and is not transmitted to us:
- Hearing check results, including pitch-matching answers and loudness balance
- Listening setup information, including headphone names, volume settings, and per-ear hearing levels
- Practice sessions, pitch drill results, training levels, and daily goals
- Daily check-ins and notes
- Songs you add, playlists, and player settings
This information may be included in your device's backups, such as iCloud or Google backups, which are governed by Apple's or Google's terms and privacy policies.
1.2 Installation Identifier
To provide subscriptions, we may collect or generate:
- An installation-linked identifier, randomly generated when the app is first opened
- Subscription and entitlement status associated with that identifier
The identifier is not derived from your name, device, or contact information. It may be sent when the app starts, whether or not you have made a purchase, and may be linked to a previous installation when you restore a purchase.
1.3 Purchase and Subscription Information
When you make a purchase or restore a purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, we may receive and store limited transaction information, such as:
- Product identifiers
- Transaction identifiers and purchase tokens
- Purchase, renewal, expiration, and cancellation dates
- Subscription status and free trial status
- Storefront country, price, and currency
- Purchase validation information
We do not receive or store your full payment card information.
1.4 Support Communications
If you contact us, we may collect the information you provide, such as your email address and the content of your message. If you use "Send feedback" in the app, your email application opens with a message that includes the app version, operating system version, and device model to help us resolve issues. This information is sent only if you choose to send the email.
1.5 Website Information
The website does not use cookies, advertising, or cross-site tracking. We may use privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics that count visits without identifying individual visitors. Our service providers process IP addresses as necessary to deliver web pages and requests.
The website's free pitch check runs entirely in your web browser. Your answers and results are not saved or transmitted.
1.6 Technical Information
Our systems may keep technical logs of requests made by the app, which may include the installation identifier, transaction identifiers, request times, and IP addresses processed as necessary to deliver requests and prevent abuse.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Harmonic Recovery does not:
- Require you to create an account
- Collect your name, email address, or phone number through the app
- Transmit your hearing results, practice history, notes, or music
- Access your location, microphone, camera, contacts, or photos
- Include advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting software in the app
- Use an advertising identifier or track you across other apps or websites
3. How We Use Information
We may use collected information to:
- Operate and maintain the Service
- Validate purchases and provide subscriptions
- Restore purchases after reinstalling the app or changing devices
- Detect refunds, revoked purchases, fraud, or unauthorized activity
- Provide customer support
- Maintain business, accounting, and tax records
- Comply with legal obligations
- Protect the safety, integrity, and security of the Service
4. Device Permissions
4.1 Music Library (iPhone and iPad)
If you choose to add songs from your music library, the app requests access to your music library in order to play the songs you select. Information about your music library is not transmitted to us.
4.2 Files
If you choose to add audio files, the app copies the files you select into its own storage on your device so that your playlist continues to work.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information in the following circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We may share information with vendors and service providers that help operate the Service, such as:
- Cloud hosting providers
- Payment and subscription validation providers
- Email and customer support providers
5.2 Platform Providers
The Service relies on third-party app platforms including:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
When you make a purchase, the installation identifier is provided to Apple or Google as part of the transaction, and transaction information is exchanged with them to validate the purchase. Purchases and subscriptions are subject to those platforms' policies and processing systems.
5.3 Legal Compliance and Protection
We may disclose information if reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law
- Respond to lawful requests
- Protect users or the public
- Investigate fraud or abuse
- Protect the rights, safety, and security of Tinibo LLC and the Service
5.4 Business Transfers
If Tinibo LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Health Information
Harmonic Recovery is a practice and self-tracking tool, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Hearing check results, listening setups, practice history, and check-ins are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to us. We do not use health-related information for advertising or share it with third parties.
7. Children's Privacy
Harmonic Recovery is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.
Tinibo LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The installation identifier and purchase information described above are used solely to support the internal operations of the Service, including subscriptions, and are not used for behavioral advertising, cross-app tracking, or building user profiles.
If we become aware that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected in violation of applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information may contact us using the information below.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide the Service
- Maintain subscriptions and allow purchases to be restored
- Handle refunds, disputes, and platform transaction records
- Comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations
- Prevent fraud and abuse
Information stored only on your device remains there until you delete it or delete the app. Backups and archived copies may persist temporarily after deletion.
9. Deletion Requests
You may delete the information stored on your device at any time by deleting the app. Deleting the app does not delete purchase and subscription records held by us, Apple, or Google.
You may request deletion of the subscription information we hold by contacting us. Because the Service does not use accounts, we may ask for a receipt, order number, or other information needed to locate your records. Deleting this information may prevent a subscription from being restored.
Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security and fraud prevention, resolving disputes, backup integrity, or platform transaction records.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to help protect information.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Users
If you use the Service outside the United States, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate.
12. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to:
- Access information
- Correct information
- Delete information
- Object to certain processing
- Withdraw consent
- Request portability where applicable
You may also:
- Delete the app and the information stored on your device
- Decline music library access in your device settings
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
Some rights may be limited by law or operational requirements.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services, websites, or applications that we do not control.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party services separately.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service, in the app's release notes, or through other reasonable methods.
Continued use of the Service after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
